What a great little gem! My friend and I were walking around looking for a place to eat and we hemmed and hawed about what cuisine we wanted and Thai it was. The place did a fair bit of take out and food delivery traffic as we dined. (Good sign). Our server was wonderful. We only saw her managing all the pieces in the front of the house and she was on it. The food was fresh, the place was warm and cozy, and the service was spot on. We split the steamed dumplings- amazing; each had a bowl of Tom Kha- perfect spice level; and I had drunken noodles with shrimp- nicely cut fat noodles in a thin basil sauce. Terrific.

My husband noticed the place was packed when picking up a pizza next door so the next day we had to try it and this place did not disappoint. Panang curry veggies were crisp, the crab rangoons were delicious and large. The Tom Kha soup was perfectly spicy. The steamed veggie dumplings were slightly undercooked but the brown sauce was delish. Service was on point. Highly recommend!

This was my first time to this place. I went out to Long Beach to meet my cousin. As we were just walking around we decided we're going to have something to eat .we checked out a few places out there but nothing seem to be of likeness.Then comes Cha ba thai. At first we thought we may not like the food. In any case we decided to go in. Wow wow again.!!!!We were greeted by a beautiful young lady. My cousin had a couple of questions which she quickly answered them and we decided to stay at this place and try it .we have no regrets from A-to-Z was so perfect. These People are serving with class . words cannot describe the ambiance. Now come to the food part. We ordered shrimp with mixed veggies and white rice,Diet Coke with lemon . the lemon came in such a beautiful container. Everything was so tasty freshly prepared. You can tell these ladies have extraordinary skills .They wrote the book on hospitality .When the host brought over the bill she did not just hand it to us she put in a decent tray with some mints and give it to us with both hands. I must say when I go back to Long Beach I am going to go back to this place because I enjoyed very much not only the food but the service etc . Awesome job ladies keep up the good work . Update to my previous review: I'm so glad Cha Ba Thai survived the pandemic.. there was a rough period after COVID started easing when they were still doing pick up or delivery. It's nice to know that they are back to indoor dining. This is my go to Thai place when I'm in Long Beach. There are so many dishes to recommend but my true favorites are the Thai Salad with delicious peanut dressing and the Curry Puffs that are consistently cooked to perfection with a delightful side sauce. The Thai Iced Tea is really refreshing and sweet, not overly sweet, just right. The restaurant is cozy and a nice place to chill before or after beach. Highly recommend!

This is the first review I have written about anything. The food was absolutely delicious. Thai is my favorite cuisine; everywhere I go I find the Thai restaurants. I was surprised by tasty this was! I really think it is the best I e had. The service was excellent. The food arrived promptly and the proportions were perfect. I highly recommend eating here.

Excellent. Flavors were great, abundance of fresh and varied veggies in the dishes. We haven't been here for many years and glad that we stopped in. Simple, unadorned space with pleasant service. Bathroom needs work and is not an indication of quality, please do better here.
